Information Literacy is basically the process of how to access information. While this may seem simpler, new researchers and some seasoned researchers often find themselves overwhelmed by the amount of readily available information. Librarians have traditionally assisted those in need to learn about the resources available and how to use them. This skill set enables learners to be better researchers and to develop their critical thinking skills.

Propaganda has been a useful tool in developing a populations mindset. Historically, strategically placed ads , movies, and etc. have been used to subjugate races and champion new political ideologies. It is not limited to one nation but is a tool utilized by the world.

What influence did the Harlem Renaissance have on culture of African Americans?
The Harlem Renaissance was a pivotal period in African American History. It was a hub of intellectual, social, and artistic expression. James Baldwin, Zora Neale Hurston, and Langston Hughes wrote novels that illustrated the reality of African American life. These artist/authors were able to encourage other similarly situated to expand their horizons and limits placed upon them by society.
