After working as an administrative assistant with a major teaching medical center for nearly 20 years, I finally figured out what I wanted to be when I grew up and got my Master's in Library and Information Sciences from the University of North Texas in 2007. I began working as a librarian at Bethel University in Western Tennessee the same year, becoming library director in 2010.
