How can you improve the performance of a SQL query?
1. Don't Select *(all), only request the columns you need 2. Use with ur and for fetch only at the end of your query if real time results are not needed and you aren't going to update the database. 3. When joining large tables create temp tables of only the columns you need, cutting down not needed data and columns can dramatically speed up queries along with creating tables no one else is looking at.

What are the 3 best software tools that come with a windows PC for diagnosing and solving issues? Why?
1. Task Manager- Shows active processes and individual performance metrics for them, shows basic hardware performance, statistics and settings and finally gives detailed history on user software usage and services currently being used. 2. Device Manager- Shows all (properly) connected hardware and their properties along with the ability to check for driver updates (commonly solving issues) 3. Command Prompt/Power Shell- Execute many useful diagnostic and maintenance commands along with scripts for advanced users (Power Shell is a more advanced command prompt)
