Set up the introductory paragraph for an academic-level essay.
Max Weber’s essays: "Objectivity", "Types of Social Action", and "Religious Rejections" all illustrate his existential beliefs. However, each essay differs in its approach to existentialism and therefore offers a unique strategy for deciphering reality. The purpose of this paper is to argue that Weber’s essay, "Types of Social Action", is the most pertinent to the world we live in today because it highlights the importance of meaningfulness in an increasingly valueless and instrumental-rational society. I will first explore Weber’s fundamentally existential worldview in terms of "Objectivity", then in terms of "Types of Social Action", and then finally in terms of "Religious Rejections". I will then conclude with a discussion of why "Types of Social Action" is the essay that is most relevant to our lives today.

What are the ethical considerations a library should take into account when using social media to promote library services?
Many libraries have incorporated the use of social media into their programming. Some use it for promotional purposes, while others use it to provide information services such as readers’ advisory. While seemingly harmless, there have been many concerns regarding various social media platforms' privacy policies, especially in terms of the storage and use of users’ data and metadata. In order to ethically incorporate social media in library programming, libraries should properly inform their patrons of the associated risks to information privacy and security.

What role do advertisements play in perpetuating cultural and societal norms?
Advertisements aim to exaggerate cultural and societal norms that are already familiar to the imagined audience. For example, gender roles are often heavily stressed in advertising: women are shown in postures connotative of passivity and vulnerability while men are shown as authoritative and strong. By perpetuating norms that are already familiar to the audience, advertisements create desirability for products by suggesting that the product will help consumers become better culturally or socially accepted.
