About Brett

About Brett
Hi! I am Brett--a recent Georgetown graduate--who works at a non-profit in Washington DC. I am a self-described nerd who loves helping people one-on-one. History is my jam and if you are having any difficulties with Spanish, I would love to help. If you want a teacher who is young and loves to help you learn (and will prepare ahead of time), I would love to be that for you!

Teaching Experience

Teaching Experience
I love teaching and spent my 4 years at Georgetown teaching English to non-English speakers (primarily Spanish speakers. I studied and earned my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification with 150 hours of practicum. I worked as a Macroeconomics TA at Georgetown in 2016. I also worked as a private in-house tutor for a local Georgetown family with children in 7th and 10th grade. Most recently, I have worked as a substitute teacher for grades K-12 at a local IB/Charter school.
