I will analyze four different flavors of coffee using mass spectrometry. Mass Spectrometry is the technique which can give us detailed information about the mass of each individual component in all four coffee flavors.
In a single cell, not even visible to an eye. Thousands of enzymatic reactions occur simultaneously for the normal functioning of the cell. Each enzyme has its own suitable pH where it can work efficiently. How are so many enzymes controlled in a such a small microenvironment?
In a cell various a number of sub cellular organelles are present. Each organelle has specific microenvironment for proper functioning of its constituents enzymes. e.g enzymes within lysosome have acidic pH, which is necessary for proper functioning of its enzymes.
Most of the organisms start with a single cell (Zygote). Zygote then divides and multiplies into various cells to form a complete organism, be it human, dog, cat or elephant. What makes a single cell zygote transform into different organisms?
It is the genetic information in the form of DNA which directs the zygote to form different organisms. The content of DNA in each organism corresponds to the number of chromosomes. Each organism has a specific set of chromosomes. The number of chromosomes present in a cell can give us an information about the organism. e.g Dog has 78 chromosomes while humans have 46 and cats have 38.
