How would you determine if a person could live to be 1 000 000 hours old?
There are 24 hours in a day and 365 days in a year. If you multiply 24 x 365 you get 8,760. I then divided 1,000,000 by 8,760 which gave me 114. This means a person would have to live to 114 years old to be 1,000,000 hours old. Therefore this is not possible.

Analyse some interrelationships among factors that can contribute to quality of life.
When we look at various countries and their quality of life, we can see that there are a variety of factors that contribute to this number. When we look at countries with a low quality of life we can see that there a few common factors. Limited access to clean water is a huge factor as it then leads to water-borne diseases and to high death rates. This also contributes to high infant mortality rates that we see in these countries. On the opposite end of the spectrum, countries with a high average level of education will have higher literacy rates which leads to more of the population being employed. These countries also see lower fertility rates, birth rates and better maternal health.

Identify and describe ways in which the physical environment can influence the general location and patterns of human settlement.
The physical environment can influence the patterns of human settlement in many ways, The impacts of physical features such as climate, soil and topography impact the ease of which a human population could reside there. These three factors could influence agricultural settlements (not having the right soil or climate to grow crops or farm animals), impact urban development (topography not right for development) or the ease of water transportation which all have a large impact on the natural decision to settle in one place.
