I'm currently finishing up my BA in History (focus on European history), with plans to pursue graduate studies in a related field. I have a broad range of interests when it comes to my studies, and I spend a lot of time doing independent research on global indigenous peoples. I tutored on and off in middle and high school. Whenever a friend (or family member with a struggling student) needed help, I was always there to lend a hand.
In high school, I spent copious amounts of time volunteering at my local library. This was not strictly a teaching position, but often the programs I would help run was educational. This taught me a lot about how to approach children, how to keep them from getting frustrated and discouraged, and how to keep their spirits up.
Since 2015, I have tutored online on various platforms.
