Question:

What would you say is the best way to think about the cell?

Katie S.
Answer:

To me, the cell is an office. The nucleus is the boss, telling everyone what to do. The mitochondria is the human resources director, making sure everyone has what they need to work. The endoplasmic reticulum is the assistant, delivering all the orders to the workers. The ribosomes are the sales people, getting all the work done!

Question:

How would you explain concepts such as adding and subtracting negative numbers in a way that a student could easily understand?

Katie S.
Answer:

Basically, negative numbers and positive numbers are fighting a battle. The negatives side with each other, and the positive side with each other. At the end, they stand on either side and knock out each other. However many is left is your answer!
