What is considered effective communications?
Effective communication is displaying what your message is in a clear and concise format that allows the listener to hear and understand what you are trying to teach them. Always allowing for questions to clarify any misunderstanding
What is "good" management or a "good" manager?
The question of what is considered "good" management is a hard question to answer. I have been asked numerous times during my career what do I consider to be "good" manager. That answer depends on how you view management at this current time and space. Being a good manager doesn't mean that everyone likes you or that you always have the correct answer. Being a good manager means creating and implementing the best plan for the success of the company without destroying the moral of the employee. Notice I didn't say make the employee happy but to rather not destroy the hope or moral of the employee(s). You will never make everyone happy. You need to trust that the decisions you make are in the interest of the company's success and not done for personal greed or gain and that you communicate your your plan for success to the employees you manage.
