Subject: World Geography
Is learning geography relevant to the modern workforce and society?
Geography has always been important to careers and society. Whether a person lives a localized or globalized life, the earth's state has been influential. For example, people use GIS everyday on their electronic devices. Even Without the knowledge or skills necessary to maintain this tool, people still rely on their knowledge of weather, climate, and landforms to travel (whether crossing the street or an ocean). As a society we rely on GIS or basic understanding of the laws of nature to mine, farm, and invest stocks. Geography will always be relevant to our lives.
