How does the current situation in Venezuela affect U.S. foreign policy?
The inflation of oil prices in Venezuela has caused international oil prices to fall within stock markets that have a negative impact on America's economy. Furthermore, the illegal election of President Maduro does not align with the United States interest to have the country represented by a democratic regime. Therefore, it supports Juan Guaido's movement to transition him out of power.
