About Lisa
Hello! I'm both a university writing instructor and mom. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy doing pilates, gardening, and playing with our English Bulldog.

Teaching Experience
I've been teaching at the University level, both traditional college and online, for almost fifteen years now. As a writing instructor, I have experience with beginning writers, returning students, literature, composition, and digital literacy. I'm a self-proclaimed "grammar-nerd" and I also love to compose thesis statements. I can help with any writing concerns you may have--large or small!

2012 - 2019
I currently teach GEN ED 103 and have taught ENG 121, 122, and Introduction to Literature. My forte is working with returning students, older students, and new students. These students are a special population who require particular attention to their needs. My goals are to help students understand the writing process, use the library with ease, and be independent learners. Using the TutorMe platform is a great way to do this! You can expect patience, guidance, and caring instruction from me. I won't do your work for you, but will help you to...
