Answer:

All of the numbers in the equation have one "X." This means that they are like terms. You can ONLY put together like terms. For example, if there was 6X + 4X^2 = ? You could not add them together because they do not have "like terms." Since all of the numbers in the question have one X, they can be added together. 6X + 4X + 5X = 15X.

Answer:

The basic acronym for math functions is PEMDAS. There are sayings such as "Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally" to try to help you remember the PEMDAS acronym. PEMDAS stands for parenthesis, exponent, multiplication, division, addition, subtraction. The first step is to start with "P" parenthesis. You work your way down the acronym to fit the problem you are trying to solve. For example, (2+3) X (4+2) - 5 = ? The answer is 25. Start with the parenthesis which is 5 and 6. Then, multiply 5 and 6 together which is 30. Now subtract 5 from 30 and the answer is 25.

Answer:

Educational requirements vary depending on the level of the position. A secretary needs a high school diploma. Most employers like some secretarial experience, but not all require it. A teacher must have a Bachelor's Degree that equals four years of experience in the education field with a valid teaching license. Teachers can have different licenses for different grades or levels of teaching. The current licenses are grades K-6, 4-8, and 8-12 in the state of Arkansas. A principal must have a Master's Degree in Education. Most individuals applying for a principal position, must have at least 3-5 years of teaching experience. This rule is determined by the school district. A Superintendent must have a Doctorate Degree in Education. This equals up to eight years of an education degree. Most Superintendents have to be elected by the school board and must have been teaching for a certain number of years. This number is determined by the school district and can be found on public records through the school's website.
