Why was the Industrial Revolution so impactful on the world?
The Industrial Revolution was impactful because it produced machinery and technology that is still around today. Technology like the steam engine, which changed the West completely, was created and used during this time. For many countries the production rates in factories saw exponential growth, meaning that more work could be done in a day, and more profit could be made by the companies. This allowed for companies to hire more workers, and in turn changed the economic outlook of society as a whole, where more families became middle class, instead of poor.

Why did the United States enter World War I?
The United States entered World War I as a result of the interception of the Zimmerman note from Germany to Mexico, as Germany tried to create an alliance with Mexico, and ultimately gave the United States the final push to enter into the war. This is after German U-boats sank the British ocean liner, the Lusitania, killing over 100 Americans, after the Germans had began to use the unrestricted submarine warfare techniques, and after the Germans had attacked American supply ships.

What animal caused the Bubonic Plague in Europe and how did it spread?
Mice brought the Bubonic Plague with them from the Silk Road trade routes into Europe. Many historians believe that fleas carried by the mice then infected humans. As a result, the bubonic plague was spread by people keeping shut up in their homes with someone who was infected, bodies being piled in the streets, and bad living conditions.
