Tutor profile: Caitlin M.
three-year writing/English tutor and MFA poetry candidate
I have approximately three years experience as a tutor in English and writing. I have experience with grammar use, MLA, AP style guide and APA, as well as working with writing across various subjects in academia within the humanities. I have a B.A. in English and art, minoring in ancient, medieval and early modern studies, and am working towards an MFA in creative writing. I have worked as a copy editor at two newspapers and, therefore, am familiar with the AP style guide.
Main experience teaching is as a writing tutor. In addition to this, I substitute for professors and instructors at the community college and lead workshops on many subjects, the most recent of which being on comma use.
