Ms. Spoon is a Professional Librarian. She has worked in both Public and University settings. She opened the Adelson Library and the Cornell Lab of Ornithology at Cornell University. She worked at the Ithaca College Library for 17 years. Most recently she was the Director of the Broome County Public Library and the Cortland Free Library where she concentrated on Library Administration and Procurement of Grants.
