Question:

In an essay, is it more important to utilize creative writing or professional writing?

Mika P.
Answer:

Although creative writing and professional writing are two very distinct voices, it is the marriage of the two that can form a powerful piece of writing. While certain pieces may require a more specific tone, creativity in our vocabulary can make the difference between an engaging essay and a mundane one. Utilizing both a creative voice and a professional voice in writing is an excellent way to draw upon multiple resources for the material, and express multifaceted abilities.

Question:

How can language affect your mindset?

Answer:

The language we use on a regular basis becomes an internal language embedded in our brain. In the same way that we can fixate on the words others use about us, the way we speak about ourselves can operate as a personal motto. For example, if you frequently excuse minor mistakes by claiming "I'm dumb," you may very well begin to believe this to be true. Instead, it may be more productive to claim "I made a mistake, I will do better next time." Changing the way we speak about ourselves and learning to forgive ourselves can do wonders for our personal mindset.

Answer:

Modern rhetoric can serve many purposes in society today. The way we communicate social justice, political reform, and/or variable changes to the current hierarchy of needs are all rooted in this very useful tool. Communication as a vehicle can both increase the mobility of a movement, and sustain the life of it.
