This African-American and Latin movement, was getting well known thanks to the metro service in NYC, since the trains were initially the canvases of this voiceless people. 'Screaming' their names and identity sprayed all over, the Graffiti culture became pretty popular in the big apple and not only. Lately the Graffiti artists Basquiat and Keith Haring were fully embraced by the Pop-Art and art scene in general and helped to spread this art worldwide.
