I have worked in both public and university libraries since 2010. I completed my internship at San Jose State University and then was hired as a student assistant at the university library. While working for the university and public library, I gained many useful skills: entering metadata, performing research, offering reference services, writing grants and reports, performing collection development, and teaching patrons Digital literacy skills and how to cite and locate items in the library.
