Yes! Databases provide a wealth of information. Databases can range in topic from genealogy, language, free streaming media to finding journal articles. Libraries provide an A to Z collection of topics in databases to assist patrons on various levels and topics. Databases are just an additional way for Librarians to help bridge the gap between searching for information and finding your desired topic.
How is an individual shaped by society?
An individual is shaped by the culture and society they live in. Society dictates and molds individuals into who they are. Society provides what is morally and ethically acceptable. As a whole, people find that perceptions are dictated by the mainstream and therefore, our thoughts are influenced by what others do.
How have humans adapted to their different environments?
Overall, humans have been able to adapt to the environments they are in. The rate at which humans adapt however, can vary. Humans adapt to difference environments in a variety of ways. Humans can react biological or even culturally depending on the situation. We are also constantly responding to everyday stresses, both internally and externally.
