Answer:

The first consequence of climate change I will discuss is the glaciers worldwide. It is clear that overall this earth is experiencing a negative mass balance on its glaciers. They are melting at extremely fast rates with no rebound forecasted for the future. A second consequence of climate change would be in connection to our worlds glaciers. With the worlds melting glaciers comes sea level rise. Sea level rise is of growing concern, especially for those cities on coastlines. In future years to come there are estimate that sea level rise will cause devastating effects globally with coastal cities and infrastructure at most risk.

Question:

In the world we live in today there is constant motion and mobility. What major theme in human geography can be responsible for our increasingly mobile society?

Answer:

Although there are many possible answers to this question, a major contributor to societies constant motion and mobility is globalization. Globalization allows us to communicate virtually anywhere in the world, it allows us to travel almost everywhere, and it allows us to experience the same goods and services world wide. Before globalization became such a booming concept and theme in human geography the ease of sending a message, or visiting someone across the world did not exist.
