Please describe the difference between a physical change and a chemical change, and give an example of both.
A physical change occurs when a substance changes forms but not chemical composition. Example: H2O changing between a solid, liquid, or gaseous state. A chemical change occurs wine a substance changes and becomes a different substance after the change. These changes happen on a molecular level. Example: Iron when it exposed to oxygen turns to iron oxide (rust).
