The genetic code is considered 'Degenerative' because the 3rd base in a codon can _________, which goes against standard Watson-Crick rules.
Wobble. Due to this, multiple codons code for the same ammino acid. Hence, why there are 64 possible codons, but only 20 unique ammino acids (in humans). This is what is meant by 'degenerative' genetic code.

What is the general purpose of a B-Cell (Lymphocyte)?
B-Cells are apart of the adaptive immune system, which is responsible for protecting the body from antigens (foreign organisms or molecules). They primarily work by producing antibodies that bind to these foreign antigens. Antibody binding can inactivate the antigen's binding sites directly as well as initiate opsonization by other immune cells. Additionally, the subset of Memory B-Cells "remember" what antibodies they released in response to specific antigens. This helps reduce the response time for antibody release if they encounter the same antigen in the future.
