Question:
What are some difference between low-density lipoproteins (LDL) and high-density lipoproteins (HDL)?

Tayler P.
Answer:
Low-density lipoproteins (LDL) are considered bad proteins while high-density lipoproteins (HDL) are considered good proteins. LDLs are considered bad because they carry cholesterol to the arteries which promotes narrowing of the blood vessel and stiffening, ultimately leading to atherosclerosis. HDLs are considered good because they take the cholesterol to the liver where it can be metabolized and excreted.
