Answer:

Family: The family is one of the first places where a child undergoes socialization. They are usually the first to teach children how to grow and maintain relationships, how to take care of oneself, and more. They are also one of the first places that children begin to shape their values and beliefs about life. School: School is another important agent of socialization, as it teaches students academic values and beliefs as well as social values, beliefs and norms. A child's interactions with other children and teachers teach them norms about creating relationships with others, as well as norms about how to behave in different social settings (ex: the classroom vs. the playground).

Answer:

The first thing I believe Toys 'R Us should consider is the 4 Ps: Price, Product, Promotion and Place. I believe this will help them think about what products they would like to offer, and how to price their items in relation to their competitors. They should also consider what promotions they plan to run within the first six months to draw consumers into their stores. Place will be especially important to consider with the development of a new website. Toys R' Us should consider where consumers will buy their products, as well as how they will get products to consumers. In terms of promotions, Toys 'R Us should develop a united message for digital advertising, print advertising, public relations and personal selling. This will ensure they have an integrated marketing communications plan.

Question:

How do I write a compelling personal statement?

Answer:

Personal statements are the way for you to stand out to an admissions counselor! This is a great place for you to talk about what makes you unique. Mention an experience or trait that only you have. For example, did you have a unique part time job during high school? Share what you've done in your role, and how the skills you gained will help you succeed in college. You could also talk about your hopes and goals for attending college. Do you want to open a business in your community to support those around you? Tell them! It will help them understand what your motivations are for attending college, as well as give them another look into who you are. This is also a great place to offer an explanation if you have a test score or semester that you believe is not indicative of your ability as a student. Providing an explanation can humanize you and help your counselor see beyond the test scores.
