Answer:

"Tu" is the informal singular form whereas "Vous" is the formal plural form. When to use? Use "vous" when speaking to someone who is an authority figure for example Always use "vous" when more than one person. Use "tu" when speaking more colloquially with friends. Example: Speaking to your professor: Bonjour Madame, comment allez-vous ? Speaking to your group of multiple friends: Qu'est-ce que vous aimez faire? Speaking to your one friend: Tu vas bien ?

Question:

What is stomatal conductance and how does it affect photosynthesis?

Answer:

Stomates are the pores in a leaf that facilitates gas exchange. Stomata play an important role in the ability for a plant to photosynthesize. Stomatal conductance, or the instantaneous rate of gas exchange in and out of stomata is a proxy for the openness of stomata, which directly relates to photosynthesis. High stomatal conductance means lots of gas exchange and stomata are open allowing for greater photosynthesis, whereas low stomatal conductance means stomata are likely closed and have minimal gas exchange.
