About David

About David
Hi everyone! My name is David and I am current a third-year anesthesia resident in Chicago. I have always loved anatomy and physiology which is what led me to study integrative physiology at the University of Iowa. I then went on to complete my medical education at the University of Iowa where I graduated in 2017. Since then, I have been completing my anesthesia residency in Chicago where I work with medical students on a daily basis to help them understand anesthesia concepts in simple terms.

Teaching Experience

Teaching Experience
For 2.5 years as an undergraduate, I tutored other students in chemistry, physics, and anatomy/physiology. After graduating in 2012 and prior to starting medical school in 2013, I served as a teaching assistant for anatomy and physiology courses at the University of Iowa were I held office hours, helped in physiology lab where students conducted experiments, and helped professors grade exams.
