Relate the style and aesthetic of Busby Berkeley and his influence on modern cinema.
The distinctive aesthetic of a Berkeley film infamously presents the viewer with stylized geometrical arrangements of dancers. This key element combined with elaborate costuming and well designed lighting scenarios can be directly noted in the work of the modern director, Baz Luhmann. In Luhrmann's film, Moulin Rouge, we can see a heavy Berkeley influence and homage to both their eccentric and pioneering styles. Specially in the iconic Berkeley film, Footlight Parade (1933), during the waterfall scene, compared to Luhrmann's film during the "Hindi Sad Diamonds" song.

How did Queen Elizabeth I help bring about the Renaissance in England?
The English Renaissance, unlike that in Italy and Eastern Europe, was focused largely on theater and music. Elizabeth, and her vast patronage of artists, such as Shakespeare and William Byrd, allowed them to become influential and central figures during this time period.

Name the material used known as "the stone that saved Spanish FL," and how it affected architecture in the 16th century.
"Coquina" was a concrete material which infused crushed sea shells in the mortar. This created a unique building material that was able to absorb the intense heat of the tropics and not crack. The wide spread use of coquina allowed the Spanish to dominate the Caribbean and parts of South and Central America. This in turn, added intense Spanish ascetics and design to these parts of the New World.
