I'm originally from northwest Pennsylvania but have been moving around the United States since 2009 pursuing my dream of teaching at university. I have a BA in English and a minor in women's studies from Penn State Erie, two Master's of Arts from the University of Wyoming (literature and American Studies), and I am currently enrolled in a Ph.D. in rhetoric and composition at Ohio University. I've been teaching first-year composition (FYC) since 2009. I have been a teaching assistant (TA) three times, twice at the University of Wyoming and currently at Ohio University. I've taught writing at a community college in Laramie, WY. In PA, I substitute taught at an all-girl's high school, then moved to Oregon where I taught writing, literature, and humanities courses at Eastern Oregon University. I am the instructor of record for three sections of ENG 1510, rhetoric and writing. In addition to teaching, meeting with students, and creating/grading all course materials I am taking courses that count towards my terminal degree in rhetoric and composition.
