Question:

Explain what a person need to travel overseas.

Dannika N.
Answer:

If a person wanted to leave their home country they would first need to check if the country they were visiting had visa requirements. These can be checked on government websites. Once checked, the person would either need to apply for a visa or just purchase plane tickets. You will also need a valid passport as well as enough money for your holiday. Once this is complete you will need to check travel times and arrive at the airport two hours ahead of flight time. This time will be used for checking into the flight and going through immigration, where your passport will be stamped. Once you have arrived at your destination of choice you will need to go through immigration again and get an entry stamp. After this, you just need to enjoy your holiday!

Question:

How do you create a panoramic image from only 5 of the 10 photographs that you took? What would be the best format to save it in once complete?

Dannika N.
Answer:

The first step in creating a smooth panoramic image in Photoshop would be to separate your selected images into a separate folder and mark it accordingly. Once that is complete, open Photoshop. Once it is open, follow these steps: - File - Automate - Photo merge Once photo merge is open, you will have a choice on what layout you'd like. This will differ with the style of photograph. If you have shot on the same line from left to right or right to left the best layout would be the 'perspective' layout. The next step will be to source the files needed for the panoramic image. You will first click on 'source files' then browse where you find and use: (named folder from first part of lesson). Press OK to finalise image. It is important to leave the controls alone while Photoshop does the stitching so as not to cause any disturbance in the process. Once the panoramic image has been stitched together you need to use the crop tool (which looks like a box) or select 'C' on your key board as a shortcut. Crop out all the gray and black areas to create a clean boarder. If you want to edit the image again, the best format would be '.psd' or '.psb' which are large document formats. If you want to save it for viewing or printing, save as a Photoshop PDF - .pdf
