I have resided in Scotland for the past four years earring an honors degree in biology at the University of St Andrews. The university is ranked second in the UK ranking tables, but is probably best known for being where Prince William met Princess Kate. The program I am enrolled in only accepted 5 Americans so you could say I know my stuff. I am currently writing up my dissertation on plant viral movement proteins. I was responsible for approximately 100 volunteers at a internationally accredited suicide hotline. This required being on call for crisis situations. This post ended after a year as was constitutionally specified by the organization. I still assist the organization when required. Under my direction, the hotline won Nightline of the year in 2019, completing against hotlines from the UK, EU, and North America.
