You are conducting some vital sign readings on a patient including Blood pressure, ECG and BSL. Once you have taken the readings, the patient asks you what the results are. What is your response?
If a patient asked me for results, I would advise the patient that I am qualified to measure the vital signs only and not provide results. Then advise the patient that they will be seeking assistance from a doctor following our consultation to be provided with results and advice.
What are the three core elements of a paragraph?
The three core elements of a paragraph include a clear topic sentence, a concise and detailed body text covering the main points and a concluding sentence that finalises your point(s) and may possibly lead into the next paragraph.
What communication tactics would you implement when confronted with an angry client/customer?
If I was presented with a client/customer who was angry, I would ensure to speak calmly and clearly to the person to ensure that you are not provoking any further confrontation. Then I would empathise with the person and perhaps apologise to attempt to diffuse the situation. And finally I would offer alternative solutions to the problem they/we are facing to try and resolve. The steps to follow are empathise, understand and solve.
