Answer:

To convert a Word document to a PDF, follow these steps: 1. Name and save your Word document to your computer or drive. 2. Click the File tab at the top, left side of your screen. 3. Click the "Export" tab towards the bottom of the vertical tab list. 4. Click the "Create PDF/XPS" button on the right side of the page. 5. Change the title of the document if you wish to do so and choose where you would like to save it, just like you would when saving a Word document. 6. Ensure that "Save as type" is set to "PDF." 7. Click "Publish" at the bottom of the box. After the final step, your Word document will become a PDF.

Question:

How do I improve my writing?

Inactive
Hannah S.
Answer:

One of the easiest ways to improve your writing is to read it out loud. While this may seem weird at first, reading your writing out loud will allow you to hear issues such as sentence fragments or weird phrases. Plus, when you read your writing silently, your brain tends to skip over mistakes since you look at it a lot as you write it. When you vocalize your writing, you will likely catch mistakes that you did not see before.

Question:

What is an adverb?

Answer:

An adverb is a word that describes a verb. Sometimes, though not always, an adverb is a word that ends in "-ly." Let's look at an example sentence: He quickly runs to the girl. The verb in this sentence is "runs." "Quickly" is the adverb because it describes how the boy runs to the girl.
