What is the best thing about writing?

Writing allows you to challenge yourself as a thinker. When you can write well, you can think well. Constructing arguments, explaining key concepts, and exploring your opinions brings the content you're studying to life.

What is the best way to study?

I like to study by starting out with a review of all my notes on the subject that I am going to be tested on. I use this review to highlight what is important to know. Then, I take that information and create flashcards of key terms or lists that I need to memorize. After I've fully reviewed the materials and memorized the flashcards, I test myself in a way that I would expect to be on an exam. This ensures that I not only know the information, but that I can apply the information in a test setting.

What makes diagramming sentences so important?

Diagramming sentences allows you to truly understand and connect with a sentence. When you do this, you can understand grammar in a way unlike you have before and truly understand how to create the best sentences.
