Tutor profile: Marissa J.

I am a psychology student at Brigham Young University. I love to read and explore the Utah mountains with my friends. I have enjoyed learning for as long as I can remember, and I love sharing in the learning process with others.

I was a teaching assistant for Dr. Edwin Gantt for over a year. My responsibilities included holding three review sessions each semester in which I would teach a lesson on my own or with another TA. I also held regular office hours. It was common for students to come to office hours with questions. We regularly had lengthy discussions about the course material.
