What are the main elements of a podcast script or transcription?
-Narration / Voice Track: Your voice (in your own words) introducing the topic, posing key questions, identifying conflicts, bridging points, all to create flow between interview segments) -Interview clips: Choose strong points made by the people you interviewed. Transcribe them right into your script. Interview clips should flow out of narration, and vice versa. -Sound Effects and Music: These elements can be used to smooth transition, set scene, etc. Usually - sound precedes dialogue in a given scene. Eg: We hear waves. We then know we are at the beach. For music -- you can either name specific songs that play in particular parts of your script, or else describe the mood of the music. You may submit a mp3 of the song with your script if you want -- but you are not required to do so.
