How many Calories did I eat if I ate 106 grams of carbohydrates, 60 grams of protein, and 23 grams of fat?
1) We know that Carbohydrates = 4cal/g Fat = 9cal/g Protein = 4cal/g 2) So, 106g x 4cal/g = 424cal 60 x 4cal/g = 240cal 23 x 9 = 207cal 3) Now, if we add all the calories together 424 + 240 + 207 = 874cal 4) Our final answer would be they consumed a total of 874 calories!

How do I find the my percentile rank of my friend who dunked 4 baskets, and the other scores were, 1, 3, 5, 6, 3, 2, 2, 1 ?
1) Lets order the everyone's score in descending order: 6, 5, 4, 3, 3, 2, 2, 1, 1. 2) We will fill out the equation Percentile= (# of scores at or below) / (# of people) * 100 3) There 6 scores at or below, 9 people 4) When we plug those into our equation, we see Percentile = (6) / (9) * 100 5) This gives us 66.66, but since it is a fraction.... We always round up for a percentile 6) Our final answer is our friend would land in the 67th percentile with his 4 dunks.

How can I remember the action of each muscle?
If we remember where each end of a muscle attaches to, which is referred to as the insertion and origin of a muscle, we can picture in our minds the direction of the fibers that make up that muscle. Then we can pretend there is a spring between each point and see which direction our body part moves when it recoils. For example: Your rectus femoris originates on the anterior part of the hip and inserts in the patellae tendon. So, we know that our muscle crosses the knee joint and the hip joint and the fiber direction is all one way. When our imaginary spring recoils, or knee will straighten which is called "extension", and our hip will bend which is called "flexion".
