I am a graduating senior at Willamette University (c.o. '20) double majoring in Psychology and Refugee and Migration Studies. In my free time, I love to paint, draw, and spend time in the outdoors. I swam all 4 years in college, so I am familiar with the challenges and joys that come with being a student-athlete, and I am passionate about helping others reach their full academic and personal potential

I lead a team of tutors who works with refugee high school students. In this capacity, I help to train other tutors, monitor progress of students and tutors, as well as tutor high school students in a broad range of subjects including: Algebra I, Social Studies, English, Psychology, Government, and History. I also maintain regular contact with students' teachers to ensure that our program is supporting their students in the most meaningful way possible.

I mentor college students who are struggling maintain their grades through an academic success action plan. I start by identifying areas for improvement in academic practices and then meet regularly with students to help implement habits conducive to academic success. I also tutor in certain subjects.
