About Kate

About Kate
I used to be a linguist, but then veered into the weird and wild world of biochemistry, and I'm getting ready to start a PhD in structural biology at Caltech. More than anything, now is a great time to learn more about cell biology and biochemistry, and I'm delighted to be a resource to those who are curious!

I've done some tutoring, both online through HelpHub (which I think is defunct now) and in person at the University of British Columbia. I also have some experience presenting work and ideas from lab meetings at Caltech.
