I have so many courses/projects/assignments/etc due, how can I get it all done, with good grades?
This is the question for almost everyone throughout education. Time management is essential, but so is making sure you prioritize your time. I like to make myself a schedule of BIG things that will happen, like exams or due dates. Then I can schedule in the time I plan to work on all those things. It is also important to leave time for rest - your brain does better with sleep and time for the knowledge to solidify. On an individual basis I would like to know your aspirations and goals (what grade you want, where you want to be in the future) so that we can plan how you can get there. Studying is just about passing, it is about LEARNING and applying it!
During DNA replication, there are two strands being produced. One is the leading strand. What is the other strand called, and what is the name of the fragments that compose it?
During DNA replication, 2 strands are produced. 1 = Leading strand, 2= Lagging strand. The lagging strand is made up of fragments called Okazaki fragments, which are the pieces of DNA strand created as the replication fork unwinds. Picture to strings wound together, at the spot in which they can be pulled apart. The strands go opposite directions, and thus when DNA strands are separated and replicated, one strand becomes continuous and the other discontinuous (leaving fragments) based on where the 5' or 3' end is (The direction the strand run)
