Answer:

Thomson uses this in their defense of abortion. When speaking on positive rights, these are the right to be given something. Negative rights is the right to not have something happen to you. To provide further explanation, a positive right could be the right to be alive in the world. On the contrary, the negative right could be the right to not be murdered.

Question:

What is the distinction between emotions and feelings?

Answer:

Emotions are behavioral, autonomic, and hormonal responses to a given situation. They function to add emphasis to experiences, making them more memorable and thus an organism is more likely to repeat behaviors that bring joy and avoid ones that produce danger or pain. While emotions are experienced by all animals, feelings are uniquely human and are associated with a particular emotion.

Question:

When you eat food what is happening in the different systems of your body?

Answer:

The food begins to be brocken down by salivary enzymes that are secreted in your mouth. The food travels by way of your esophagus to reach the stomach. The solid material is further digested and broken down by your stomach acid until it becomes an acidic mixture called Chyme. The chyme then travels through your small intestine where the multi-folded arrangement facilitates nutrient absorption through the finger-like projections, villi & microvilli. The waster products then make their way through your large intestine to be excreted.
