Explain the cardiac cycle, and all the stages it consists of.
The cardiac cycle is defined as the sequence of a single heartbeat, from start to end. It consists of 2 main stages: - The systole (the atrial systole, where both atrials contract and allow the blood to flow to the ventricles, followed by the ventricular systole where both ventricles contract for the blood to be pushed to the arteries). - The diastole (this is the period where all 4 chambers of the heart, the 2 atrials and the 2 ventricles, relax and re-fill with blood).

What is grammatically incorrect in the sentence below? " The host offered my sister and I some freshly baked bread. "
The sentence should instead be "The host offered my sister and me some freshly baked bread". This is because 'and I' should be used when it is part of the subject, but in this case, 'my sister and me' is the object. So you should use 'and me', instead of 'and I'. An example of using 'and I' correctly would be: "My sister and I offered our guest some freshly baked bread".
