Question:

What is the difference between a wirefreame and a mockup?

Inactive
Eric F.
Answer:

In the industry we refer to wireframes as the more diagrammatic sketches for our website. These usually only describe the layout of our site usually in black and white. Mockups on the other hand will be finished renderings of what the website will look like with the final color pallet, logos and dummy text and placeholder images.

Question:

Why do I sometimes use == and other times ===?

Inactive
Eric F.
Answer:

Javascript is a loosely typed language which means we do not need to declare the type of variable we are using, java script takes care of that for us. Using a triple equals makes sure that both values are of the same type while the double equals doesn't. So 5 == "5" is true while 5 === "5" is false. There are also truthy and falsy values which will be equivalent if we do not use the triple equals so for example false == 0 is true while false === 0 is false.

Question:

Why do we use encapsulation for our variables when writing a C# class?

Inactive
Eric F.
Answer:

Encapsulation is used to prevent other classes from having access to data that might be sensitive or difficult to parse. Therefore we use properties to get and set different values for variables inside classes. This also allows us to more strictly control the range and encoding of these variables.
