Question:

What is the most appropriate way to delete a mullion on a storefront wall in Revit?

Answer:

1. In order to begin, the storefront wall should be opened on elevation view to make the selection process more convenient. 2. The mouse cursor needs to be placed on the center of the mullion and the TAB key on the keyboard should be pressed till a blue dashed grid line appears passing through the center of the mullion. 3. Note: A common mistake made is unpinning the mullion and deleting it directly which leaves a gap in the glass panel. 4. After clicking on the blue grid line, the next step is to go to the ARCHITECTURE TAB and click on MULLIONS. There will be an option which says ADD/ REMOVE SEGMENTS. 5. After clicking on the ADD/ REMOVE SEGMENTS option the cursor should be placed on the unwanted mullion and clicked once. 6. Now, the system will detect the mullion and would delete it without disturbing the glass panel.

Answer:

The Mona Lisa uses characteristics that are typical to renaissance paintings. Sfumato is the soft transition between colors that is produced by a smoky/ blurred effect as in the Mona Lisa (like the mysterious smile). Chiaroscuro is play of light and dark to create depth for the form and space in the painting. Moreover, the Mona Lisa contains an overwhelming amount of naturalism which in turn displays the perfect golden ratio in the painting.

Answer:

1. The first step is to add a NEW LAYER to the base image followed by adding a complete BLACK COLOR FILL. 2. The second step is about adding a NOISE filter which is UNIFORM at 150% 3. In the third step minor adjustments can be made by changing the layer to SCREEN (This adds transparency and haziness to the image). 4. Then comes the fourth step to get rid of the black spots by reducing the darkness in LEVELS. 5. The final and most crucial step is to add a MOTION BLUR filter which can be adjusted to any specific angle and distance (which appear on the screen) as desired.
