I am a Mechanical Engineer that specializes in the design manufacturing tooling. I have always enjoyed sharing my knowledge with others, and helping young people enter STEM fields is one of my passions. Being a part of the design engineering community has given me a deep appreciation of technology and what it takes to create it. In my spare time, I long distance running and backpacking.
My first experience teaching came in college while I was working as a student worker in the universities manufacturing shop. I was responsible for instructing students on the use of manual mills and lathes. While a senior in college, I helped many of the lower level students study for classes that they were struggling in. Since graduating, I have privately tutored students in math and physical sciences. I have also been enjoying substitute teaching in math and science classes at a local high school.
