Question:

How would you find the height of a tree if you know the angle of elevation and the horizontal distance from the base of that tree.

Question:

If you were offered a job for thirty consecutive days and had two choices for your salary, which would you pick: 1) I will pay you $50.000 for the first day and $10,000 each day after. Or 2) I will pay you a penny the first day and double it each day after that.

Robert F.

Answer:

Although option 1 yields you $79,000 in just thirty days, Option 2 yields you over $500 million. I'd take option 2.
