As a Peer Collaborator, I worked with professors to design selective inhibitors of Prolyl-tRNA Synthetase in order to understand this protein’s role in the production and destruction of cancer cells. I developed a computer software program that enables individuals with low vision to work in computational chemistry. I also worked as the lead grant writer, composing a grant that gained funding from the National Institute of Health to research the development of new cancer drugs.
