About Ed
Hello! My name is Ed and I have a B.S. in Chemistry with a minor in mathematics and I am currently a Chemistry Ph.D. student in graduate school at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I specialize in physical and analytical chemistry, but I can also tutor General Chemistry and other lower level classes. I research topics in Biophysical chemistry and love to work with students and help them in their fundamental understanding of chemistry.
Teaching Experience
I have taught a variety of laboratory and lecture courses. Lab courses are as follows: Organic Chemistry I and II, General Chemistry I and II, and Physical Chemistry I and II. Lecture courses I have taught are as follows: Survey of Organic Chemistry, General Chemistry, and Physical Chemistry. I have taught for 3 years now. I have also graded for the following mathematics classes: Single variable calculus I, II, and III, Multi variable Calculus I and II, and Statistics.
