About Tammy

About Tammy
I am a proud military spouse, and a professional Librarian and Archivist. I have lived and worked in four different countries and six different states so I understand the need to adapt quickly to a new situation. I also completed much of my undergraduate and graduate degrees remotely in an online environment while stationed in Japan, Italy, and England, so I understand the challenges of learning at a distance and in different time zones. I am also a dog lover!

Teaching Experience

Teaching Experience
At Texas A&M Univeristy-San Antonio, I served as an instruction librarian to students, staff, and faculty. There I provided reference and research services both in-person and remotely to students in the areas of academic research, information literacy, source citation (APA, MLA, & Chicago), and database searching methodologies. In addition to synchronous instruction, I created online tutorials, subject guides, and research pathfinders to provide asynchronous assistance to students throughout their academic journey.
